I thought it was missing some part to cover the spout so the steam escapes from the lid whistle...it does not. Cuisinart says it's just the kettle, nothing else comes with it.
I gave it a 2 because it looks nice.otherwise it would have been 1.
and while waiting for it to whistle, the handle became very hot.
