(More customer reviews)We have only had this machine at home for a week, but the two batches of ice cream we have made so far have been wonderful.The first was the vanilla out of the recipe book and the second was a dulce de leche that I made up.Both were excellent.My wife, who normally can take or leave ice cream, said, "Is this what ice cream is supposed to taste like?"Fresh ingredients and this capable machine would seem to be the secret.
I gave the unit 4 stars because it is quite loud in operation.The noise is really the only drawback we have encountered thus far.
