(More customer reviews)My Kitchen Aid mixer died, and I thought I'd try the Cuisinart. Although there are few differences, what I like most about this mixer are the slightly longer beater blades. When mixing dough, the longer blades keep the dough from rising up the beater shafts. The handle is ergonomically designed to prevent fatigue. The beaters start up slowly to prevent splattering. The cord swivels for both left and right-handed use. The touch-pad speed control is much nicer than the "push the lever" types. It's terrific and a good value!
